Blind and visually impaired gardeners will being staging their fourth annual horticultural show in Norwich on September 4.
Gardeneyes is a club run by the Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind and green-fingered members will be presenting their parsnips and demonstrating their dahlias at the Social Centre for the Blind, in St Augustine’s, Norwich.
The NNAB’s leisure co-ordinator, Mark Smith, said: “Having poor sight is no barrier to being able to enjoy gardening. The scent of flowers and the tactile nature of many plants make it an ideal hobby.”
