Braille & Moon Classes

Braille & Moon at the NNAB

The NNAB are pleased to be able to offer classes in Braille and Moon to both beginners and to those who wish to improve their skills.  Everybody is welcome, the visually impaired, carers, educators or those with simply a personal interest.

Our Braille teaching is based on the 'Fingerprint' course from the RNIB. The books we use are 'Journey Round the Moon' and 'Moon Journey' and students may learn as little or as much as they would like, working at their own pace.

The tutors are experienced Braille and Moon users and classes are held on Thursdays during school term time in our Norwich Bradbury Activity Centre.  We can lend out the textbooks and tapes as well as Perkins Braille machines so you can work at home.

A £2 charge is made for attending each class. 

The Association also offers a Braille transcription service to outside organizations..  Further details are available on request
