The Norfolk & Norwich Association for The Blind
Ditchingham Garden Open Day
Sunday 14th April - Explore the beautiful gardens of this private estate. The gates to the estate are only open for a couple of dates in the year and all money goes to the chosen charity - this year being for the NNAB. There will be stalls of crafts, plants and ice cream as well as a tea terrace selling a selection of homemade cakes.
The Garden at Ditchingham Hall consists of an old walled garden, with coloured themed borders, a rose garden and a pergola. There is a woodland garden, including one of the largest plane trees in the county, as well as several notable Cedars of Lebanon. Also there's a newly planted arboretum of rare and interesting trees which continues to be developed. A variety of trees provide interest throughout the year, starting in spring with the blossom from the many cherries including Prunus ‘Pandora’ and Prunus ‘Shirotae’, followed by the white bell flowers of the snowdrop tree, Halesia Carolina
It's a lovely afternoon out for all the family - so why not join us!
Entrance on the gate £5 (children under 12 & disabled are free)
