The Compact 5 HD from Optelec - The new Optelec Compact 5 HD handheld video magnifier with a high definition camera will be on the mobile during March. Enjoy magnification from 1.5 to 18 times continuous zoom in high definition on a 5” screen. Price;  £695

The new TV-Eye from Pamtrad is now on display in NEIC. It was first shown to us at The Big Equipment Exhibition last September, it can be used for reading and writing. The TV-Eye plugs into the mains and into the TV via the AV or SCART socket images are displayed on the TV screen, displays colour, greyscale, enhanced black on white and white on black.  Price;  £300 plus £7 post and packing

The Mezzo from Optima Low Vision Services - a compact electronic magnifier with integrated High-Definition camera. Only 5.5 kg including optional rechargeable batteries and carrying bag, it is small enough to carry. A 13.3" monitor, magnification approx. 2.8x - 62x, mains operated.

The MagniLink Vision desk top video magnifier from Professional Vision Services on display in NEIC. It has a 18.5” screen with very simple controls; It is easy to use and a new design.   Price; £1750.

The ClearView One desktop video magnifier from Optelec offers a 19" full colour TFT flat screen with simple adjustment controls.

 Computer Software

The up to date version of Guide, an all-in-one Speech and Magnification Software Package has been installed on a computer in the Norwich Equipment Centre.  It is marketed as "Easy-to Use and Easy-to-learn".
