Fun was had playing games including parachute games, making music, creating art and craft, realxing in the sensory room and designing fruit 'smoothies'. RST a Toy Firm from Kings Lynn joined us with toys and equipment to see and buy. We were also very pleased that SENSE, LOOK and VICTA (Visually Impaired Children Taking Action) were able to come with news of the support they too can offer families.
"Moving ForwardsTogether"
Last year a residential learning holiday was held at the Virginia Court Hotel in Cromer. It was a great success and enjoyed by all as you can see in this photograph, in fact some guests asked for it to be booked now for next year! Everybody enjoyed each other's company and learnt from each other's knowledge and experiences, truly "Moving Forwards Together".
The group enjoying an EXTEND seated exercise class.
A quote from one guest was "Linda and I wanted to drop you a line to thank you so much for the wonderful three days we have just spent with you and the team in Cromer. I have learnt so much over the past few days and feel much more hopeful about my future. I'm already using some of the tips I learned!"
We are currently planning a repeat holiday for this year at The Virginnia Court Hotel in Cromer - October 26th-28th to find out more, please contact Dorothy Bowen in The Norwich Equipment Centre.
We all had a great time last year and are looking forward to the same this year.
